A total of 1,703 youth attended the two-day COVID-19 Youth Information Caravan led by the Local Government Unit of Sorsogon City. 

The program was first launched last Thursday, May 6, 2021 where various barangays were immediately visited by the City’s COVID-19 Prevention Task Force. These are Barangay Sawanga, Buenavista, Gatbo and Bato, Sugod, Caricaran, San Pascual, and San Isidro. 

The youth were very pleased with this initiative of the City Government led by City Mayor Ma. Ester E. Hamor with the aim of conveying the correct information to them. 

Meanwhile, the youth were very happy that LGU-Sorsogon City has given them attention and recognition of their role as contributors in the fight against COVID-19. 

It can be recalled that Casiguran Mayor Edwin “Boboy” Hamor started such a concept of Youth Information Caravan in the town of Casiguran and resulted in a very good outcome.
