Due to the continuous increase of Covid-19 cases in Sorsogon City, the Local Government has now tightened its surveillance of establishments in the City to ensure that minimum health protocols are implemented.
In this regard, Gayon Ciudad through the City Tourism Office headed by Ms. Joni Asphasia Jao conducted monitoring and inspection in Rompeolas on food vendors and stalls to reiterate the minimum safety and health protocols under Executive Order No. 18, 2021 series issued by City Mayor Ma. Ester E. Hamor.
CDRRMO also conducted monitoring at resorts specifically in the Bacon district where there were reports that few resorts conducted operations even though they are currently prohibited.
