In efforts to implement a more efficient conduct of Resbakuna 2021, the Sorsogon City Health Office, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology, is now using the DICT’s Vaccination Administration System (DVAS) 3.0 in its vaccination site at CityMall Sorsogon. In an interview, Dr. Jazel Sabdao-Calleja, CityMall Bakuna Center Manager, said that with DVAS, all stages of the vaccination process are automated, cutting down on paper and other resources. Turn-around time is also faster, since registration, counseling, screening and assessment, vaccination, monitoring and discharge records can be easily accessed. “Reports generation is also automatically uploaded hence lessening the burden on our already exhausted healthcare workers,” she added. The vaccination site at CityMall is being considered as one of the City Government’s fixed vaccination sites and is open Mondays to Saturdays from 9 am until 6 pm.
