Guidelines and Mechanics
LAWS OF THE GAME
Archery games shall be played in accordance with the laws of the sport observed by the World Archery Philippines.
SCHEDULE OF TOURNAMENTS
The archery tournament shall be divided into two classifications, Mini-Tournament and Main Tournament.
- Mini Tournament: Conducted by the Sorsogon City Archery Club once every two months starting April
- Mini Tournament 1: 2nd Saturday of April
- Mini Tournament 2: 2nd Saturday of June
- Mini Tournament 3: 2nd Saturday of August
- Mini Tournament 4: 2nd Saturday of October
- Main Tournament: Conducted by the City Government of Sorsogon thru the Sulay sa Futuro Sports League

The tournaments (mini/main) shall have the following categories:
- U12 Boys Category and Under 12 Girls Category
- Under 14 Boys Category and Under 14 Girls Category
- Under 18 Boys category and Under 18 Girls Category
- DISTANCES AND GUIDELINES
The following distances shall be observed during the Sulay sa Futuro Sports League Archery Season 2.
Mini Tournament: All mini-tournament shall have seeding rounds and matching rounds. In every seeding round, Each Archer shall be required to shoot 6 arrows for 6 ends totaling 60 arrows with a perfect score of 600 points.

Main Tournament: During the Main Tournament, every archer shall shoot 36 arrows in every distance corresponding to their age and sex category. A total of 144 arrows will be shot during the seeding rounds.
During the end of the 144 arrows shot, totaling 1440 perfect score, the scores of every archer will determine their ranking which will then be utilized to identify the matching of players, however, a Gold, Silver, Bronze award will already be given to the top three highest scoring archers of the seeding rounds. The winners of the matching rounds shall be declared the over-all champion and runners-up’s of the tournament.

- OFFICIATING PERSONNEL The following number of personnels are required during the conduct of the tournament:
- Mini Tournament:
- MT 1– 4 Technical Officials, 2 Judges, 3 Ground Crews
- MT 2– 4 Technical Officials, 2 Judges, 3 Ground Crews
- MT 3– 5 Technical Officials, 2 Judges, 3 Ground Crews
- MT 4– 4 Technical Officials, 2 Judges, 3 Ground Crews
- Main Tournament: During the Main Tournament, a total of 6 Technical Officials and 2 Judges will be required.

RECRUITMENT OF ADDITIONAL PLAYERS
Players who wish to join the Archery Tournament shall first undergo or attend and orientation from SCAC on the following scheduled dates:
- 2nd Saturday of April
- 2nd Saturday of June
- 2nd Saturday of August
- 2nd Saturday of October
Players who completed the orientation shall be required to become a full-pledged member of Sorsogon City Archery Club.
PRACTICE AND COACHING: Archers who are members of Sorsogon City Archery Club shall undergo training every Tuesday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at an indoor archery range and from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM every Saturday at an outdoor archery range. Trainings and Coaching shall be handled by the following coaches.
