As part of the implementation of the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF) Project, a turnover ceremony for five (5) laptops, ten (10) desktop computers, and one (1) server was successfully held on July 8, 2026, at the City Mayor’s Office.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Ma. Ester E. Hamor, represented by City Administrator Atty. Mark Gerald Guirindola, together with Arnaldo E. Escober Jr. and Arnel Renato L. Madrideo. In her message, Mayor Hamor expressed her sincere gratitude to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for its continued support of the City Government of Sorsogon and its development initiatives.
The equipment was provided through the SGLG Incentive Fund in recognition of Sorsogon City’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of good local governance. These new resources are expected to further strengthen the digitalization of government offices, enhance the efficiency of public service delivery, and promote greater transparency, accountability, and operational excellence within the local government.
This initiative reflects the strong partnership between the DILG and the City Government of Sorsogon in advancing a modern, efficient, and citizen-centered local government that delivers better services for every Sorsoganon.
