In the midst of the joyful celebration of the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, a historic inauguration was held today in Sorsogon City. The newly constructed Sorsogon City Police Station and Sorsogon CPS Multi-Purpose Building, located along Salvador H. Escudero III Diversion Road, Cabid-an, were formally opened and turned over.

The ceremony was led by PGEN Nicolas Deloso Torre III, Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), who served as the guest of honor and keynote speaker. He was warmly welcomed by local leaders including Mayor Ester Hamor, Governor Edwin “Boboy” Hamor, Congresswoman Marie Bernadette “Dette” Escudero, and Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero, along with other city officials.

The new facility aims to further strengthen the police force’s public service in the city, enabling faster response to the needs of the people and ensuring the maintenance of peace and order.

Leaders from the Sorsogon Police Provincial Office, headed by PCOL Alex C. Daniel, along with key officials from the Sorsogon City Police Station, led by PLTCOL Christopher F. Aduviso, actively participated in the ceremony.

This project is in line with the national government’s thrust under the theme:
“Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka.”
